Exhibition at Tate Modern

Hey, on Monday I exhibited my art work at Tate Modern (OK, so it was in the Cloires Studio) alongside about 25 other artists who took part in the Painting, Print and Memory course inspired by the work of Marlene Dumas.

At the start of the evening we were asked to submit three of our favourite pieces we had created during the five week course. During an extra visit of Dumas' Image as Burden the lovely ladies who ran the workshop selected two pieces (from the three) from every person and curated a rather informal exhibition in the Cloires Studio.

This is what made the cut:

My favourite Vivienne Westwood mixed media piece and a monotype print of a young girl (it's actually based on a childhood photo of a lovely lady on the art course).

  1. Both are great images, very exciting to have them displayed at the Tate! Hope you enjoyed the course x

    1. Hi Alex - yes the course was fantastic. Really enjoyable way to spend the evening x
